Let us pray to our Heavenly Shepherd:

Dear Eternal Shepherd: Thank you for your promise to lead and guide me. Forgive me for insisting on doing my own thing and not following your teachings. Thank you for defending me, even to the point of your crucifixion. I have put forth very little effort to follow you and I ask that you put a strong desire in me to do your will. I want to follow you. Please give me the strength to do so. I ask this in the Name of Jesus, Amen.”
